Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, a legal resident of Mississippi, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.​

Steps to Get Licensed (Salesperson License)

  1. Complete Pre-Licensing Education

    • Take 60 hours of approved real estate coursework from a Mississippi Real Estate Commission-approved provider.​

  2. Pass the Course Final Exam

    • Score at least 80% on your school’s final exam to qualify for the state licensing exam.​

  3. Select a Sponsoring Broker

    • You must select a broker no later than ten (10) days after passing your state exam.  

  4. Submit Application & Background Check

  5. Pass State Licensing Exam
