Rule 8.14 Owner Referrals

Referrals of prospective customers to the developer by any existing timeshare owner shall be permitted, without the owner holding a real estate license and compensation may be paid to the referring owner, only under the following circumstances:
- The existing timeshare owner refers no more than twenty (20) prospective customers in any twelve (12) month period; and
- The existing timeshare owner limits his or her activities to referring customers to the developer or the developer’s employees or agents and does not show, discuss terms or conditions of purchase or otherwise participate in any negotiations with the purchase of a timeshare interest.
